Description

This gum-based thickening agent offers key benefits, including:
  1. Ideal for individuals with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties.
  2. Resistant to breakdown by human salivary amylase.
  3. Completely transparent, tasteless, and odorless.
  4. Excellent solubility across wide range of pH and temperature without undesirable lumps
  5. IDDSI compliant, adhering to the universal IDDSI framework.

Directions

  1. Add the recommended amount (IDDSI framework) of ThixerClear®into a dry, clean cup.
  2. Then pour water over the powder.
  3. Stir immediately and vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved.
  4. Leave to stand for 2 minutes to achieve desired consistency.
  5. Stir for 10-15 seconds before consuming.

Note: Milk and oral nutrition supplement may take longer time (8-10 minutes) to reach the desired consistency.

Warnings

Used as directed by speech therapist or other medical practitioners.

Storage

  1. Once opened, cover with cap, store in an odour free, cool dry place and use content within 8 weeks.
  2. After mixing or reconstituted, consume within 6 hours or cover, refrigerate and use within 24 hours .
