Description

Standard dilution of 1 sachet (50g) + 400ml water makes up an hypo-osmolar 12.5% conc. carbohydrate drink shown to reduce postoperative insulin resistance and accelerates recovery. Preoperative intake of carbohydrate drink 800ml the night before and 400ml 2h before surgery is recommended in most patients undergoing major surgery.

Directions

1. Pour 400ml of water into a large glass. 2. Add 1 sachet of Valens Carborie Load, stir continuously until powder dissolved. 3. Drink the entire volume.
 
Evening before surgery: 2 sachets in 800ml water 2 hours before anesthesia: 1 sachet in 400ml water

Warnings

  1. Not for parenteral use.
  2. Not to be used as sole source of nutrition.
  3. Use as directed by dietitians or other medical practitioners.

Storage

  1. Store in a cool and dry place.
  2. Each sachet is intended as a single dose and should be mixed with water when opened.
  3. After mixing, consume immediately or covered, refrigerate and use within 24 hours.
