Description

Mucofilm Throat Spray is a medical device in the form of a spray, which coats the mucosa of the oral cavity, throat, vocal cords, and larynx. It creates a mucoadhesive film upon application, which protects the user from irritating influence of external factors like bacteria and viruses.

This is a medical device that contains natural extracts from Icelandic lichen, mallow and linden, and it is rich in mucinous substances, helping the sheath mucosa protect the sensory nerve ending (which are responsible for feeling the pain in the throat and the cough sensation).

It also contains hyaluronic acid (a component of the created film) to intensively moisturise dry and irritated mucosa, relieving the user from the symptoms.

Triple Action Formulation:

• Protect – Forms protective barrier in the mouth and throat which protects and coats the sensitive nerve ending against irritants (bacteria/viruses). It helps to reduce pain and inflammation.
• Repair – Moisturises and restores the dry and irritated mucosa.
• Soothe – Relieves discomfort associated with dry cough and hoarseness.

Comes with an easy-to-use 360° multi-directional pump that allows the targeted application of liquid at the site of inflammation.

Suggested Use

Children above 1 year old:

1-2 sprays at the back of the throat after meal, few times a day.​

Adults:

2-3 sprays at the back of the throat after meal, few times a day.​

Ingredients

Demineralised water, xylitol, Cetraria islandica, Alcea rosea extract, Tilia cordata extract, sodium hyaluronate/ Hyaluronic acid, lemon aroma, benzalkonium chloride, disodium EDTA, glycerine.

Precaution and Warning

1. For oral use only.
2. Due to the content of natural plant extracts in the product, sediments at the bottom of the bottle may occur. Thus, it is advisable to shake the bottle intensely each time before use.
3. The product should be sprayed on the back of the throat after eating.
4. To maintain the hygiene factor and to avoid any possible transfer of infection, it is not recommended to share the spray.
5. In case of any doubts, or when the symptoms persist for more than 7 days, it is recommended to contact the physician.
6. It is not suitable for children below 1 year old, pregnant and lactating women.
