Description

Formulated with: 1. B complex vitamins (B1, B6, B12): Help in pain relief and anti-inflammation. 2. Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA), Methylcobalamin and folic acid: Regenerate damaged nerve fibers and myelin sheath 3. Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA) and Vitamin D3: Nerve protection and glucose control to slow the progression of diabetic neuropathy (DPN).

Suitable for people with nerve pain, symptoms of nerve damages, dabetics, prediabetics and vegetarian

Directions

Adult (12 years old and above): 1-2 capsule(s) daily with meal

1. Supplementation of ALA in children below 10 years old has not been carefully studied. 2. it’s been used safely during pregnancy in doses of up to 600 mg daily for up to 4 weeks. 3. There isn’t enough reliable information to know if alpha-lipoic acid is safe to use when breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use. 4. Is Nuravit safe for long-term consumption?

Nuravit is safe, suitable for vegetarians, and generally well-tolerated. Hence, it can be safely consumed for the long term following the recommended dosage. Study shown that administration of 600mg ALA over a period of 4 years is well-tolerated, without any side effect.

Why is Vitamin B12 important for diabetic?

Decreased vitamin B12 levels are a known consequence of long-term treatment with metformin. Studies shown that the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency increases with a higher dose, longer treatment duration, race (Non-Malay race) and in patients with risk factors for vitamin B12 deficiency (such as vegetarian). Hence, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) concluded that there is a need to update product information of all metformin-containing products to reflect that vitamin B12 deficiency is now regarded as a common adverse drug reaction, and may affect up to 1 in 10 people who take metformin.
